Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to merchants who install MarketOne on their Salla store ("Merchants") and to the order and event data we process on their behalf. MarketOne acts as a data processor on the instructions of the Merchant, who remains the data controller for their customers’ personal data.

2. Information we collect

• Store & account data: your Salla store ID, store domain, and the OAuth access/refresh tokens issued by Salla when you authorize the app.
• Order & event data: information sent by Salla webhooks when events occur in your store — order IDs, order status, amounts, currency, product and line-item details, and customer identifiers such as email, phone, and name.
• Platform credentials: the Pixel/Measurement IDs and API tokens you enter to connect Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google Analytics 4.
• Technical data: request logs, IP addresses, timestamps, and delivery status used to operate, secure, and debug the service.

3. How we use information

• To receive, normalize, and deduplicate events from your Salla store.
• To forward conversion events server-to-server to the advertising and analytics platforms you have connected.
• To retry failed deliveries and show you a live event log and delivery status.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Data we send to advertising & analytics platforms

When you connect a platform, MarketOne forwards conversion event data — which may include hashed customer identifiers such as email and phone — to that platform on your instruction, so it can attribute conversions to your campaigns. The platforms you may connect are Meta (Conversions API), TikTok (Events API), Snapchat (Conversions API), and Google Analytics 4 (Measurement Protocol). Each platform processes this data under its own privacy policy and terms. We only send data to platforms you have explicitly configured.

5. How we share information

• Connected platforms: only the platforms you choose to enable, as described above.
• Infrastructure providers: MarketOne runs on Zoho Catalyst (serverless hosting and datastore), which processes data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• Legal: where required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• We do not sell your data or your customers’ data.

6. Security

• Platform tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256).
• Incoming Salla webhooks are verified with HMAC-SHA256 signatures before they are trusted.
• Data is isolated per store (multi-tenant isolation by store ID).

7. Data retention

We retain event records for as long as needed to provide reporting, deduplication, and retry functionality, and to meet legal obligations. Store credentials and platform tokens are retained while the app is installed and are deleted or rendered unusable after you uninstall MarketOne or request deletion.

8. Your rights and choices

You can disconnect any platform at any time from the MarketOne dashboard, which stops further data being sent to it. Uninstalling MarketOne from your Salla store revokes its access. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data we hold, contact us using the details below. Because MarketOne acts on the Merchant’s instructions, end customers should direct privacy requests to the relevant Merchant.

9. Merchant responsibilities

As the data controller for your customers, you are responsible for maintaining a lawful basis for processing, providing your own privacy notice to your customers, and obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction before conversion data is collected and forwarded.

10. Cookies & local storage

The MarketOne dashboard uses essential browser storage (such as localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember preferences like language. The marketing website may use privacy-friendly analytics to measure traffic. MarketOne does not place tracking cookies on your storefront.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed in data centers operated by our infrastructure provider in regions outside your country. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to Merchants.
